I thought kids about "phases of the moon" by using Oreo biscuits. The yellow and green cap in the middle is the earth while oreo biscuits surrounding it are the phases of the moon from new moon till full moon. We discussed about how the moon orbits the earth and what are the phases? I gave them simple explanation to make them understand the process.

It was fun as we enjoyed eating the chocolate cream during the lesson and finished eating the cookies after the lesson.

On top of this science lesson on moon, we talked about this amazing creation of The Almighty which is a proof of His wiseness. Masya Allah.
