Bought these interesting comics and book for only rm32 including postage. The contents really suit primary school children. My kids have enjoyed reading them. The credit goes to Ustazah @fatimah_syarha and husband for producing good books for children. BarakAllahu feekum.

Sensory activity with nature.

Sensory activity for baby by using nature. She experienced the different kinds of textures and surfaces through this activity.

Sensory bags.

Sensory bags help to develop a baby's fine motor skills by synchronizing fingers and hand with eyes, stimulate her senses which are sight, touch, smell, movement, taste and hear. On top it, develop his/her cognitive and develop her language.

I used different sizes, shapes and colours of pom pom, beads, buttons, rubber bands, strings, papers, wooden letters and sand. I also used water for some of the bags to make them more attractive.

 

P/s:  Her brothers, sister and cousins enjoy playing with these sensory bags.

Solar powered aquariums.

Mr. Hubby and kids' project.

Solar powered aquariums for the boys. An aquarium for each boy of us by using recycled oil plastic containers.
This projects is also an upgraded version of the previous project.
Our boys love these aquariums because they are kids' friendly.
Furthermore, solar power generates free electricity. So, they can keep their fish at the lowest cost. Alhamdullilah, Ya Rabb for the sunlight that provides us solar power.

Membina Keluarga Profazz

A must have parenting book.
A story on how a supermom raised up all her sons to be well mannered men and successful professionals. On top pf these, all her sons are huffaz. MasyaAllah.
She also has shared a lot of parenting tips in this book.
May all our children also follow her sons' path. In Shaa Allah.

Bean sprouts

Mr. Hubby's bean sprouts project.

A project which has taught kids

How plants can grow without soil.

Conversion from kg to gram and vice versa (standard 4 topic)
3) Life skills
4) Gratitude
It is not easy to earn money and wasting food is not allowed at all.  Always be thankful with every single thing that Allah has given us.

Diy jigsaw puzzle

Ummi potong2 pamplets and magazines untuk jadikan diy jigsaw puzzle. Puzzle Diy lagi seronok and challenging sebab boleh potong ikut suka kita. Yang paling penting, zero cost. Habis buat je, blh buang dengan hati yang gembira sbb Ummi tak membazir kertas.

Untuk first level, bagi yang senang sikit.Second level, up sikit level of difficulty. Then the next level, beri mereka yang lebih susah lagi.
Anak2 dan Mr Hubby bet untuk tengok siapa boleh buat sampai habis. Yang kalah didenda ketuk ketampi.

P/s: Ketuk ketampi bagus untuk otak dan kecergasan anak.

The walking water experiment

Walking water and capillary action.
Here how we have related this experiment with our nature.

Tissue is made from fibre where it has a lot of gaps. These gaps pull the water upward. The same things happen to the trees and plants. The water climbs against the gravity from the roots to the branches, twigs and leaves on the top through the similar process which is called cappilary action.
MasyaAllah, Allah is Ar-Rashiid. Each of His creation is too amazing.

P/s: This is the simplest way to explain to kids and i asked them to put it into words in their journal.

Darjah 1 dan Sifir Magic

Seronok mengajar budak darjah 1 'Sifir Magic'. Dalam masa 1 jam dah boleh mahir sifir 2, 3 dan 4. Next week sambung sifir 5 sehingga 9 pula.
Sifir Magic ini tidak perlu dihafal dan sangat mudah. Boleh diajar kepada anak berusia 6 hingga 8 tahun. Begitu juga kepada pelajar yang lemah sifir dan masih tidak dapat menguasai sifir walaupun sudah berada di darjah 6.

Kegagalan menghafal sifir bukan lagi penghalang untuk lulus cemerlang dalam math. Yang penting nak menguasai sifir atau tidak.

Exposing my baby to nature.

As we cannot go out now, so lets walk around our mini garden. Introducing her to the trees, leaves and flowers.

Cara mudah untuk mengajar anak membaca.

Ini memang antara buku yang
terbaik untuk mengajar anak membaca dalam English dan BM. Siri ini menggunakan 'phonics' yang sememangnya amat mudah untuk anak2 menguasai kemahiran membaca.

Kita boleh mula mengajar anak membaca pada usia 4, 5 atau 6 tahun. Ianya bergantung kepada anak kita dan persediaan mereka untuk belajar membaca. Ibubapa pun perlu bersedia dan mempunyai ilmu untuk mengajar anak kemahiran yang penting ini.

Pastikan anak sudah boleh dan menguasai kemahiran membaca sebelum darjah 2. Syllabus sekarang semakin susah. Bayangkan bila tidak boleh membaca, bagaimana anak akan faham dengan apa yang dipelajari di sekolah.
Jangan mengharap pada guru sahaja. Zaman sekarang, ibubapa  pun perlu menjadi proactive untuk melahirkan generasi yang berilmu.

Zikrur Rahman's birthday.

Today is my firstborn, Muhammad Zikrur Rahman's 11th birthday.

May Allah grant all his wishes, give him good health, long life and guide him to the righteous path.

The new school drama.

Alhamdullilah, he can adapt to  his new school now. He is happier and more confident too.  What a great relief!

Every time i send him to school, he urged me to ask the same security guard a question that i knew the answer, "Where is the assembly for standard 1?“ Ummi kena jadi muka tembok and ada juga rasa nak cover my face sbb dah macam orang yang..... je cara security tu tengok. Finally, after 5 days, the drama was over.

I had no choice. I had to follow his request to ensure his emotion and confidence were not affected at school.

An experience that only this boy has given me in 2020. Well, every child is different although they came from the same womb.

P/s: After one month of schooling, he told me that he is getting new friends. The teachers are friendly too.

A wonderful experience.

It was Zikrullah's birthday and he decided to do everything from a to z. It took us 2 days to bake and decorate the cake.

Kids did most of the tasks like choosing the decorations, baking the cakes and whipping the fresh cream. Of course there were parts where we guided and helped them.

Mess? Yesss, full of mess. Without this mess, leaning process would not take place and we would not get an opportunity to create a wonderful experience and memory with kids.

Welcome 2020

Welcoming 2020 as a mother of 4. Definitely, it's going to be a 🎢 year full with challenges not only for me but for all the mothers.

May Allah bless everyone and keep us strong mentally and physically to face all the challenges.
